Duration: 1-Year Contract (July 2025 – June 2026)
We’re seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to support in managing critical technology initiatives. This role will lead planning and oversight for enhancements to the WIC Management Information System (MIS) and Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) platforms, ensuring compliance with both state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead creation and revision of planning documents, including project schedules, APDs, and IAPDs, in alignment with USDA/FNS Handbook 901
Facilitate weekly stakeholder meetings, track project actions, and confirm system requirements
Oversee the coordination of technical deliverables across internal teams and external vendors
Assist with hardware procurement, service level agreements, and federal compliance submissions
Support ADA and security compliance scans, user documentation, and internal staff mentoring
Maintain strict adherence to DOH and federal data security standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Project management for IT or government technology systems
Technical writing (user and system documentation)
Facilitating group sessions for business analysis and requirements gathering
Experience with project tools like Microsoft Project and Visio
Working knowledge of federal and state data systems and security regulations
Demonstrated history of progressively responsible IT project roles
Highly Desired:
Experience with WIC program systems, EBT platforms, or public health IT
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent PMI certification
ITIL Managing Professional certification
Familiarity with USDA/FNS Handbook 901 and federal APD/IAPD planning cycles
