What You’ll Do:
• Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of equipment, systems, and controls.
• Operate test equipment. This includes multimeters and probes.
• Coordinate the removal of equipment needing basic repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment.
• Responsible for locating part sources and estimating costs.
• Document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
• Coordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements.
• Assist with the development of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision.
• Understand the general concepts of ISO 9001 and GMP production.
• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems; transmitters, motors, breakers, drives, etc.
• Installation, Repair, and Calibration of a variety of Instrumentation (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level) used in Process Manufacturing and Laboratory Areas.
• Installation, Repair, and Calibration of Control Valves, Actuators, and positioners.
• Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration of Electronic Scales and Process Feeder Systems.
• Troubleshoot and test control loops including tuning and calibration of controllers.
• Configuration and repair maintenance on DCS and PLC systems.
Must Haves:
4+ years of experience as a calibration technician
Experience working in manufacturing or large scale equipment (size of a semi truck for comparison)
Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Systems
Plusses:
GMP, GDP, or Cleanroom Experience
