About Boltz Entertainment

We’re the indie studio behind Write Warz, the fast-growing story-crafting party game on Steam. Our ten-person team in Central Florida blends humor, community-first design, and AAA production values—and we’re ready for our next technical leader.

Your Core Mission

Lead a small team of programmers: create weekly goals, approve timesheets, track hours, and mentor junior devs.

Plan sprints & hot-fix pushes in collaboration with design, art, and QA; jump on callouts when a deadline looms.

Architect and optimize multiplayer systems using Netcode for GameObjects, Mirror, or FishNet.

Review pull requests, resolve merge conflicts, and enforce coding standards that follow SOLID and other best practices.

Jump into the trenches—profiling, debugging, and refactoring gameplay, UI (uGUI), and tools when issues arise.

Champion team morale: keep a positive, solution-oriented mindset and help others whenever they’re stuck.

Must-Haves

Local to Central Florida and willing to be on-site in Oviedo, FL five days a week (no remote or hybrid).

3+ years professional Unity experience plus at least one shipped title where you owned major gameplay systems.

Proven track record managing or mentoring programmers—time tracking, task assignments, and performance feedback.

Expert-level C#, design patterns (singleton, observer, polymorphism), multithreading & async/await.

Multiplayer production experience in Unity.

Git power-user: branch strategy, code reviews, and conflict resolution.

Flexibility: nights or weekends when a milestone is on fire.

Positive attitude, curiosity, and a drive to craft amazing player experiences.

Bonus Points

DoTween / LeanTween wizardry.

Shader Graph or VFX Graph tinkering.

Unity Services (Auth, Lobby, Remote Config, Matchmaker).

Azure, PlayFab, or other C# backend work.

Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., llama.cpp, Ollama) for AI-driven features.

Test-Driven Development chops & mobile deployment experience.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a salaried role with competitive pay, Core hours are 9 am – 5 pm ET, but we expect schedule flexibility near key deadlines and some weekends.
