Position Overview: Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal for a prominent Kansas City boutique firm. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with 5-10 years of litigation experience to support all phases of the litigation process- from case initiation through trial.

Key Qualifications:

Proven litigation experience (5-10 years preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and document management systems

Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with court rules, filings, and legal procedures

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently or in a team

What You'll Do:

Oversee national docket and ensure regulatory compliance

Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents

Assist attorneys with discovery, trial prep, and hearings

Communicate with clients, courts, and counsel

File in state and federal courts nationwide

Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and case law
