Civil Structural Engineer

6 month contract to direct hire

M-F / Onsite

Structural Engineer with 0-5 years’ experience to join the team supporting multi-discipline projects.

Job Description:

Work under the direction of Senior Engineer to perform calculations and prepare design reports for steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations.

Perform computer aided design.

Review calculations performed by others

Review and comment on drawings to ensure compliance with design.

Industrial and Offshore design experience preferred

Field experiences considered a plus.

Qualifications:

As a minimum candidate is expected to have:

BS Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an ABET accredited university – required

MS degree is desirable.

Engineer in Training Certificate is desired.

Knowledge of U.S. Codes and standards required.

Knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, Teams, structural analysis programs), Risa/SACS experience is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
