Position Overview
As a Spacecraft Integration Technician, you'll be a critical part of the team building our vehicles from the ground up. This role involves assembling structural and electrical systems, validating functionality, and preparing hardware for flight. You’ll work directly with engineering and test teams, ensuring every part and system is aligned and operating properly before launch.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end integration of spacecraft systems, from initial bench setups to completed flight units
Create and refine assembly guides, test protocols, and integration procedures
Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving hardware or software during assembly and testing phases
Maintain strict configuration control and documentation throughout the build process
Partner with test teams to execute and support environmental tests, including thermal vacuum and vibration
Take full ownership of the spacecraft through its final stages of assembly and launch readiness
Preferred Background
Deep experience in assembling and integrating complex aerospace systems (e.g., satellites, rockets)
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Skilled in both mechanical and electrical tasks, including using instruments like oscilloscopes and multimeters
Comfortable working in dynamic build environments and adapting quickly to shifting needs
Knowledge of industry-standard environmental testing practices and specifications
