A growing technology-driven company is seeking aSenior Firmware Engineerto take a lead role in developing embedded software for next-generation connected hardware. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the metal, optimizing system performance, and shaping the firmware architecture behind smart, networked products.

This is a hands-on engineering role with significant technical ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems using C/C++

Debug and resolve hardware/software integration issues

Define and implement communication protocols and peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)

Contribute to system architecture and bootloader development

Integrate wireless connectivity features (e.g., BLE, Zigbee, WiFi)

Collaborate across engineering disciplines to define specs and scale development

Mentor junior engineers and help expand firmware capabilities

Qualifications:

Expert-level C/C++ programming in embedded environments

Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and real-time systems

Proficiency in debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar tools

Familiarity with wireless and networking protocols (BLE, Zigbee, MQTT, TCP/IP, etc.)

Strong documentation and communication skills

Demonstrated leadership in embedded projects
