Location: Preferably based in Ohio or nearby areas (e.g., Michigan)Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Quality & EHS Plant Manager to lead the implementation of a robust quality and safety management system that meets customer, industry, and regulatory standards. This role is critical in driving product integrity, risk mitigation, and a continuous improvement mindset within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) deployment aligned with IATF/ISO standards.
Ensure product and process compliance with safety, environmental, and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and root-cause problem-solving (8D, 5Why, etc.).
Oversee audits, PFMEAs, control plans, and corrective actions.
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams on EHS compliance and risk mitigation.
Represent the voice of the customer and manage escalated quality issues.
Collaborate with plant leadership to align quality goals with business objectives.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and core quality tools.
Proven leadership in managing teams and leading cross-functional quality initiatives.
Experience with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates currently residing in Ohio or nearby regions (e.g., Michigan).
Spanish language skills are a plus for diverse team environments.
