Job Description
As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling railroad switches, ensuring precision and quality in each task. You will utilize hand and power tools, grind and deburr components, and perform light welding as required. The role demands physical strength, as you will lift up to 65 pounds and contribute to various tasks necessary for the assembly process.
Responsibilities
Assemble railroad switches using hand and power tools.
Perform grinding and deburring of components.
Lift up to 65 pounds safely and efficiently.
Execute light welding tasks as needed.
Complete additional tasks required in the assembly process.Essential Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and inclination.

The work environment at Trackworks is challenging, with conditions that require adaptability. It is a very dirty and somewhat disorganized facility, with wide open doors that make it hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The facility is loud, demanding focus and resilience from employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TAYLOR MILL, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.
