Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical eCommerce Planner to join our growing digital team. This role is responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective planning, forecasting, and inventory management across our digital channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with buying, marketing, and operations teams to ensure optimal product availability and performance online.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage sales, margin, and inventory plans for eCommerce channels.
Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product performance to inform planning decisions.
Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to align product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment or markdown strategies.
Create and maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance reports.
Identify risks and opportunities in the business and propose actionable solutions.
Support assortment planning and SKU rationalization for digital platforms.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely product availability and fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in eCommerce planning, retail planning, or digital merchandising.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and planning tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) is a plus.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
