About us:

Chancey Metals, LLC is a longstanding local metal fabrication shop in need of a Punch Press Set-up Operator for our 1st Shift to join our team.

Compensation range for this position is based upon experience and qualifications. Description:Sets up and operates a punch press machine to create shapes and holes in metal, plastic, or other materials. Their responsibilities may include:

Quality checks: Inspecting the machine's products or components for defects.

Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on the punch press after each production run.

Configuration: Configuring the machine before each production run.

Measuring: Using precision measuring instruments to verify that the completed workpieces meet specifications.

Reading: Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.

Additional Requirements:

· Housekeeping of area

· Lift up to 50 lbs
