In this role, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate every stage of the project—from design and planning to installation and commissioning. Key Responsibilities
Support planning and execution of BAS projects to ensure they stay on track with scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and clients to develop project documentation and technical plans.
Help manage subcontractors, procurement, and quality control throughout project delivery.
Track and update schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Participate in site meetings, provide progress reports, and assist with field coordination.
Assist with system startup, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, lighting, and integrated BAS systems.
Troubleshoot issues, support field technicians, and help resolve project challenges efficiently.
Stay up to date with emerging BAS technologies, codes, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Automation, Construction Management, or a related field.
2+ years of project coordination or assistant project management experience in BAS, MEP, or controls.
Familiarity with BAS platforms like Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, or Honeywell.
Understanding of HVAC systems, low-voltage controls, and system commissioning processes.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.
