Job Title: Distribution & Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $17.00 – $24.00 hourly (based on experience)

Position Overview

As a Distribution & Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for receiving, inventory management, and distribution at your assigned location. You will also perform basic maintenance and assist in facility operations, ensuring a safe and functional environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while responding quickly to facility needs. No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, stock, and distribute deliveries to appropriate departments

Assist with offsite clinic functions as needed

Set up lobby areas for seminars and symposiums

Collect and prepare biohazard waste for pickup

Perform basic maintenance and repairs

Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues

Contact and coordinate with maintenance vendors

Escort vendors and emergency personnel through the facility

Deliver food and supplies to physician pods and management

Assist with setting up and relocating satellite offices

Transport items to and from storage

Provide coverage at other West Cancer Center locations as needed

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions

Interface with internal teams and external vendors

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of six (6) months of related experience and/or training

Experience in a facilities or maintenance environment preferred

Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving skills and timely response to situations

Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance

Ability to work from drawings, diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications

Valid driver’s license required
