WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in State College, PA.

Job Function:

Day Shift.

3x12.

Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).

Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments per policy.

Educate patients on surgical procedures.

Record patients' medical information and vital signs.

Monitor, adjust, and interpret specialized patient equipment and electronic displays.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania.

2 years acute Med/Surg RN experience required.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
