Job Description:

We are seeking experiencedAmerican Sign Language Interpreterto work in the school setting. The ideal candidates will be fluent in ASL and English, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing inclusive and accessible services. This Candidate willcollaborate effectively on a team and adapt to fit the students needs.

KEY INFORMATION

Term: 2025-2026 School Year

Caseload:Working 1:1 with a 6th grade student that has some hearing ability but relies primarily on ASL to communicate. She is fully included in the general education classroom with a 504 plan. There is a DHH teacher that is assigned to her.

School Hours:

Full-Time, 37.5hours per week

7:15am-3:00pm

Location: Onsite in East Peoria, Illinois

Qualifications: Must have an EIPA score of 3.5 or RID

Hourly Pay Rate Starting at $30/hour (determined based on experience and qualifications)
