Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented M110 Heat Set Web Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials. This role requires a strong understanding of print processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor printing presses to ensure quality output and adherence to specifications.

Set up press equipment, including adjustments for ink, paper, and other materials.

Conduct prepress checks to confirm layout design and color management meet production standards.

Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and timelines.

Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify any defects or inconsistencies.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process and implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.

Familiarity with color management techniques and print advertising standards.

Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
