Corporate Risk Services partners with UMB management in its obligation to effectively manage operational, compliance and other related risks within the UMB family of corporations.

This team provides timely, accurate, and seasoned judgment related to operational, regulatory compliance risk, suggests strategies for mitigating risk, promotes a strong culture of risk management, and fulfills regulatory expectations of administering effective risk management frameworks, compliance monitoring and other mandated programs.

The Senior Third Party Risk Analyst (Analyst) will assist in facilitating management's third-party risk management program. The Analyst will perform quality assurance of UMB's Third Party Risk Management practices to include validating adherence to departmental policy and procedures, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations for process improvement. This role will be directly involved in the onboarding review of third-party engagements into the enterprise risk management system to begin the risk assessment process of Third Party providers. Will facilitate the entire onboarding process, by partnering with others throughout the organization.

How you’ll spend your time:

You will perform quality assurance for all elements of the Third Party Oversight Program, responsible for onboarding new engagements to begin the risk review process. This process includes Third Party research, quality assurance, including risk classification of third party engagements, risk assessment review for new third party relationships with UMB. Coordination and collection of initial Third Party due diligence documents. Become familiar with all functions within the Third Party Risk process, including subsequent risk assessment review for annual monitoring and financial reviews. Basic understanding of contract structure is required.

Demonstrate familiarity with how to work with a database and use tools for analysis and report creation purposes.

Learn and become familiar with the entire functions related to TPRM Onboarding.

You will support Third Party Oversight leaders on process improvements.

Stay abreast of industry of third party risk management trends and continually seeks ways in which to Third Party Oversight Program.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or an equivalent about combination of education and experience

You have at least four (4) years experience in risk management processes, risk identification and measurement, audit, consulting, in banking or other financial services industry

Compensation Range:$57,760.00 - $124,170.00
