Purpose of Role:

The Manager, Supply Chain Network Optimization will lead initiatives focused on enhancing the performance, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of our global supply chain network. This role involves using advanced modeling tools, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to design and implement network improvements.

Job Components:

Analyze current supply chain network performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, service improvements, and risk mitigation.

Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.

Lead strategic network design initiatives, including facility location analysis, transportation routing, and inventory positioning.

Develop and maintain advanced models for network simulation and optimization using tools such as Llamasoft, Coupa, AIMMS, or similar platforms. (Example outputs include Center of Gravity Analysis and Optimal Routing Solutions).

Utilize ArcGIS or other similar Geographic Information System (GIS) software to build visualizations of geographic importance.

Communicate business insights based on geo-spatial data and analysis.

Analyze data and evaluate its applicability to the GIS/mapping solution.

Perform and/or manage support and defect resolution for GIS/mapping solution.

Partner with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Procurement, Planning, Finance, IT) to assess impacts of network changes and drive alignment on solutions.

Monitor external trends, including market shifts, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes, that may affect the supply chain network.

Support Merger & Acquisition activity and capacity planning by evaluating impacts to the network and proposing integration strategies.

Manage and interpret large datasets to inform decision-making and create actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clear, data-driven business cases.

Lead continuous improvement projects focused on sustainability, lead time reduction, and agility enhancement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.

5+ years of experience in supply chain strategy, logistics, or network optimization.

People leadership experience preferred, including a track record of developing and motivating teams.

Proven experience with supply chain modeling and optimization tools such as Llamasoft, Coupa, AIMMS, or other similar platforms.

Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS.

Highly analytical and strategic, including strong attention to detail.

Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience in global supply chains, including knowledge of transportation modes, trade compliance, and sourcing strategy, is a plus.
