Education

Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of education: A minimum of four (4) or more years of hands–on experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions.

Required Experience

A minimum of four (4) or more years of hands–on experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions to assist Insider Threat Office (InTO) with detecting, deterring, and mitigating insider threats.

Must demonstrate attention to detail.

Shall always display a professional demeanor, regardless of the circumstance.

Must demonstrate oral communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.

Must have the ability to not share work information with those external to the FBI and its partners during and after employment.

Establish innovative methods to address matters

Provide specialized analysis and production support.

Preferred Experience

Work experience in national security or security-related matters is preferred.

Responsibilities:

SANCORP is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the FBI’s Insider Threat Office (InTO) by overseeing analytical support services to detect, deter, and mitigate insider threats in alignment with the FBI’s mission to protect national security. The following are examples of responsibilities:

Collaborates effectively within a team environment, demonstrating strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information, ensuring no disclosure to individuals external to the FBI and its partners during or after employment.

Develops and implements innovative methods to address complex operational and analytical challenges.

Delivers specialized analysis and production support to advance mission objectives.

Provide intelligence and threat analysis of information that is tailored to InTO requirements.

Review and evaluate incoming reports and information, collection plans, and programs.

Write clear, concise, and timely reports that identify, interpret, and collate disparate pieces of information.

Develop information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products in support of program information and technical support requirements.

Responsible for presenting briefings to personnel designated by program management.

Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Chrome; navigate multiple browser windows, and copy/paste to and from different applications.

Conduct analytical and critical thinking (i.e. understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgements and provide recommendations to management).

Identify relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative or operational program initiatives.

Access information from classified and open-source databases.

Access, analyze and interpret as well as perform research on designated systems and databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the requestor, organizing and reporting the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) specified by the InTO SOP.

Evaluate information using good judgment and decision making.
