Prior Authorization Pharmacist Location: Remote - Anywhere in the U.S.

Prior Authorization Pharmacist Compensation: $53.00 p/hr

Prior Authorization Pharmacist Hours:

8 hours per day 40 hours per week with possible weekends and OT

What does the Prior Authorization Pharmacist do?

This position is responsible for reviewing and completing criteria based on prior authorization as per policy and procedure.

You will be directly supporting Medicare Part D members and providers with requests related to their pharmacy benefits.

You will be responsible for ensuring cases are accurately set up for our members, review clinical information for decisioning the request, performing outreach to providers for more information when needed, and ensuring accurate decisions that comply with compendia and Medicare guidance and timelines.

MUST HAVE PBM EXPERIENCE

Prior Authorization Pharmacist requirements?

PBM - Prior Authorization experience required

Call Center experience or high volume calls experience required

Bachelor's Degree Required, Pharm D

Must have active Pharmacist license with no restrictions in the state you reside in - required

MUST HAVE PBM PRIOR AUTHORIZATION EXPERIENCE
