Local CDL Driver

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a local CDL Driver for a company based in Decatur, AL. We're looking for a skilled and dependable CDL truck driver to join our team for local runs. This role involves transporting pallets and crates within a 20-mile radius, with no overnight hauls. Since deliveries are close to our facility, the driver will also support distribution and manufacturing operations when time allows.

Pay Rate

$25.00 per hour.

Local CDL Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed or box truck (26,000+GVW) safely and efficiently.

• Secure and strap down loads before each trip

• Conduct pre-trip and post -trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain delivery logs, fuel records, and required paperwork

• Assist in warehouse or production tasks between deliveries

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Strong physical condition to handle loading and securing cargo

• Experience with flatbed hauling and box trailers.

• Ability to complete essential documentation accurately

• Clean driving record.
