Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will spend 80% of your workday operating a sit-down forklift at floor level, moving bins to various locations on the production floor. The remaining 20% of your duties will include inspecting loads, building pallets, picking orders, and general cleaning. You will operate a single double forklift, capable of picking up two pallets at a time.
Responsibilities
Promptly store bins of juice after they are filled and discharged from the filler in the HPP/Bottling area.
Ensure continuous supply of juice to the HPP process, keeping bin dumpers stocked.
Organize bins to prevent mixing different types or sizes of juices.
Transport materials using NetSuite via computer, phone, or handheld devices in the bottling department.
Organize pallets and materials, manage dunnage, and load trailers.
Locate and deliver empty bins for bottling processes.
Move completed pallets onto the shrink wrap machine and document pallet counts accurately in Packaging/Packout.
Wrap pallets securely to prevent shifting during transport.
Organize areas within Packaging/Packout and return unused materials to their designated locations.
Transfer materials using NetSuite/RF Smart applications.
Effectively use electronic devices for tracking purposes.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Report safety concerns or misuse of equipment promptly.
Document work-related accidents or incidents properly.
Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.Essential Skills
1-2 years of sit-down forklift operation experience.
Proficiency with computers and handheld devices.
Experience with RF Smart systems.
Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
Flexibility in performing various functions depending on the area of operation.
Skilled in paperwork documentation.
Ability to lift 50lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Data entry experience in NetSuite preferred.
Experience assisting supervision, management, leads, and operators as needed.

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and varies across different areas, with wet or dry conditions and temperatures as low as 35F, similar to a Costco cold room. Forklift Operators may be assigned to any of the three buildings based on daily needs. Proper PPE, including coats and hand warmers, will be provided for work in cold areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
