Summary

We are seeking an IT Project Manager, for our direct client, with 35 years of experience to help lead infrastructure-related projects, including office buildouts, expansions, and post-acquisition integrations. This is a hands-on coordination role that supports both construction and enterprise IT initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, vendor-savvy, and thrives in structured, process-driven environments.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects for new offices and expansions (structured cabling, low-voltage security, audio/visual, power, network setup, etc.)

Coordinate remotely with vendors across various statesno travel required

Partner with a Senior IT PM to identify process gaps and help build repeatable project templates

Serve as the main liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring project scope, timelines, and expectations are clearly communicated

Support acquisition-related IT integration projects and internal IT initiatives as needed (e.g., Windows 11 deployment)

Maintain detailed project plans using traditional Waterfall methodologies

Track milestones, risks, and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

35 years of experience in IT project management (infrastructure or construction-related strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of network/infrastructure project components

Proven ability to manage multiple external vendors and internal SMEs simultaneously

Experience building processes or templates to standardize project execution

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Calm, organized, and proactive in a fast-paced environment

Able to work 5 days/week on-site in a collaborative office setting

Nice to Have

Experience managing data center moves, office transitions, or IT construction buildouts

Exposure to post-acquisition technology integration

Familiarity with SDLC is a bonus, but not required
