We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to support the planning and execution of electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure on-time completion, while coordinating closely with project managers, field teams, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical or construction scheduling and a strong understanding of workflow management.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using critical path methodology for multiple ongoing electrical construction projects.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators to define project scope, milestones, and deadlines.
Analyze schedule progress, identify risks and delays, and provide mitigation recommendations.
Update schedules regularly with progress data and resource allocations; generate look-ahead schedules for field teams.
Prepare and present scheduling reports and updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Assist in forecasting labor demands and sequencing tasks for optimized resource utilization.
Track change orders and adjust timelines to reflect revised scopes of work.
Ensure schedules align with contract requirements, client expectations, and company standards.
Skills and Qualification
3+ years of experience in project scheduling within the electrical or commercial construction industry.
Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and electrical trade workflows.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
Associate or bachelors degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
