Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to manage the operation of various coiling, stamping, and four-slide machines within our department. This role involves wire forming, wire filling, and wire processing of wire channel flux used for brazing, as well as performing basic measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Quality control through visual and quality inspections of the wire is essential. The operator will utilize basic hand and power tools, monitor the flow of a roll forming machine, and work as a floater in different departments.

Responsibilities

Operate coiling, stamping, and four-slide machines.

Perform wire forming, filling, and processing of wire channel flux.

Conduct basic measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Ensure quality control through visual and quality inspections.

Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively.

Monitor the flow of roll forming machines.

Work flexibly across different departments as needed.Essential Skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in machine operating, coil winding, and general production.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine setups.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tinley Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
