Job Description (Assembler)
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling tapers, tapeheads, and subassemblies for packaging machines that automatically tape cardboard boxes. Your work will involve:
Utilizing hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, and tape measures, to assemble components based on work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Performing functional testing of assembled machines (training provided on the job).
Working on varied, non-repetitive tasks, including custom orders at workstations.Key Responsibilities
Assemble tapers, tapeheads, and subassemblies with precision and accuracy.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Conduct functional testing to verify machine performance.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.Required Skills
Assembly experience (mechanical, electronic, or electrical).
Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, tape measures).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, non-repetitive work environment.Preferred Qualifications
Experience assembling at workstations or handling custom orders.

Entry LevelCompensation

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
