Mango Mangeaux in Hampton, VA is a world renowned Bistro that features cuisine infused with Creole, Neosoul, and French influences. Our lifestyle brand was featured on ABC's Shark Tank for our 'Mango Mango' Mango Preserves.
We are looking for reliable and passionate line cooks to join our excellent culinary team!
Responsibilities
Prepare and setup all work stations as well as properly break down and clean/sanitize
Work as part of the culinary team as designated by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
Read and follow recipes precisely as given
Properly execute plates for service that uphold all Mango Mangeaux standards
Qualifications
Must have 2-3 years experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must have own reliable transportation
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays required
Must possess the ability to follow the directions as given by the lead or executive chef and a willingness to do so
Knowledge of proper food temps, food safety, and overall best practices in the kitchen required
ServSafe Certification (Preferred)
