The Retail Sales Project Coordinator is an integral contributor to the success of the Retail Sales Team operating out of the corporate office. This role involves working closely with the VP of Sales and Merchandising and cross-functionally with Sales team members, the Merchandising/Buying teams, Visual Merchandising and Store Planning teams, store management and leadership to complete tasks and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational goals.
MAJOR REPSONSIBILITIES
Complete administrative duties such as annual management meeting planning, coordinating travel, scheduling, project documentation, and progress reports.
Collaborate with project sponsor and participants to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Provide regular progress updates.
Develop and monitor detailed project plans, including tasks, dependencies, resources, and milestones.
Be the subject matter expert for in-store digital price signage, in-store media networks, and in-store electronic advertising programs.
Assist with the administration and execution of the Champion Program and Vendor Expos.
Serve as the main point of contact for project related inquiries and updates fostering transparent and effective communication with all applicable parties to manage expectations and address concerns.
Responsible for expense management processing.
Minimal travel required – Vendor Expo and occasionally for other meetings.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field preferred or equivalent related job experience.
Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within a sales or business development context.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in Office 365 products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to run reports and create reports in Excel and present data highly desirable. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel i.e.: Formulas and Pivot Tables preferred.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, primarily Microsoft Teams preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with WordPress, Photoshop, and MicroStrategy are desirable.
