Job Description
Who we are:
Mid-West Dippin’ Dots is your go-to supplier for all things Dippin’ Dots throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In partnership with the West Michigan Whitecaps front office, we bring the fun to schools, festivals, convenience stores, marinas, and more. We supply businesses large and small with equipment, service, and Dippin’ Dots. Taste the Fun!
Why we want you:
We’re looking for a dependable and friendly person to join our team as a part-time Call Center Representative. You’re someone who enjoys helping others, can stay calm under pressure, and has a positive attitude. You’re organized, attentive, and comfortable handling phone calls, customer questions, and day-to-day details. You’ll support our customers and team members by answering calls, managing orders, coordinating with different departments, and making sure everyone gets the info and service they need. You work hard and play nice, and appreciate a good joke.
Why you want to work here:
We sum up our mission in three words: Fun. Community. Experiences. When you join our team, you become a part of our culture and our story – we’re small enough that you’ll have an ability to put your stamp on things. We’ve got an all-hands-on-deck mentality and pitch in when something needs done. We work very hard but we don’t take ourselves too seriously; we realize how important things like office darts and puppy visits and staff happy hours are. Plus, you will receive free baseball tickets (your friends will love you!), paid volunteer time, a free health club membership, and opportunities to get discounted or free tickets to various shows and events in West Michigan. We’re also pretty great people to work with.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be the voice our customers hear when they have questions, place orders, or need help. You’ll enter and update information in our system, communicate with the warehouse and delivery teams, and ensure every customer feels taken care of. You’ll also help solve small issues, track down information, and support the daily flow of business. We all pitch in when things get busy, and you’ll be part of that shared effort.
What you need:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need some customer service experience, preferably over the phone, though it’s not required. You should be comfortable using computers and open to learning our systems. Attention to detail is key, along with good communication skills and the ability to multitask. This is a part-time role, typically 20–25 hours a week, with the potential for more hours during busy seasons. Above all, we’re looking for someone with a good attitude who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering great service.
Let’s do this:
If this sounds like a good fit for you, send over your resume and a brief cover letter telling us a little about yourself. We can’t wait to meet you!
