Equipment & Material Handler

Job Description

The individual will facilitate the movement of whole goods and parts, as well as manage basic inventory throughout the lot and warehouse while adhering to 5S practices. They will be responsible for maintaining product displays in all retail areas, collaborating with the sales manager and sales coordinator, and working with all departments within our company.

Essential Functions:

Forklift operations

Store all equipment within the designated areas.

Stage equipment throughout the facility.

Maintains appropriate documentation of warehouse inventory.

Responsible for unloading trucks and assisting customer in the loading process.

Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

Maintains a clean work area and assists in maintaining a clean facility whenever possible.

Promotes the organization's safety efforts and maintains a safe working environment.

Perform other tasks as required.

Material Handler Skills/Qualifications:

Fork lift certified and or ability to be certified

Organizational skills

Ability to read and analyze information

Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously

Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines

Excellent time management

Process improvement mindset

Knowledge of inventory control

Ability to lift heavy materials

Data entry skills

Pay commensurate with education and experience.Company Description
