Experienced Sous Chef wanted for High-Volume Catering Company
A local, privately owned catering company is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. We specialize in high-volume catering for events and parties of all sizes, held at various venues throughout the metropolitan area.
Job Responsibilities:
Food preparation and cooking for events and parties
Working on-site at various events and venues
Performing other general kitchen duties as needed
Menu development
Inventory and price management
Qualifications:
Previous experience in high-volume cooking or catering is a must
Strong knife skills
Culinary degrees are preferred, but not required
Food safety certification
Strong leadership skills
Knowledge of food, cooking techniques, and various cuisines
Ability to follow recipes and adhere to them
A current, valid driver’s license and the ability to drive as needed
A fully operational phone for communication
