Days Hospitalist (Full-Time) - Closed ICU White Plains Hospital

White Plains Hospital, a 292-bed, award-winning facility located in the heart of Westchester, NY, is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to join its expanding Hospitalist Program. Opportunity Highlights:

Hospital-employed position with a competitive salary range: $240,000 - $300,000 (excluding quality and productivity incentives)

Days-only shifts (No swing or night shifts)

Closed ICU (No ICU coverage required)

Optional procedures depending on your interest and experience

Annual Clinical Hours: 1,816

Job Responsibilities:

As a Hospitalist, you will:

Oversee the in-patient care of hospitalized patients at White Plains Hospital.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.

Promote effective communication with patients, families, consulting physicians, and hospital staff.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, adhering to clinical pathways, protocols, and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, DOH, etc.).

Participate in efforts to reduce average patient length of stay while maintaining the quality of care.

Respond to urgent and emergent patient matters as needed within the hospital.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Medical Degree (MD or DO) with Residency in Internal Medicine

Valid New York State Medical License

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Current BLS & ACLS Certifications

Compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements (hospital, regional, state, and federal)

Minimum 2 years of Adult Hospitalist experience
