Participate and contribute to the full lifecycle of software development from planning to release.
Collaborate with geographically distributed product managers, developers, and engineers to gather requirements for test designs.
Produce, review, and enhance test documentation for the release of testing activities.
Improve product quality by reviewing product functionalities.
Report anomalies with steps for anomaly reproduction to developers.
Conduct anomaly triage meetings.
Participate in stand-up meetings and triage sessions regarding test designs, test plans, and test execution.
Conduct end-to-end feature testing, implement test strategies, and track anomaly backlogs.
Contribute to release timelines with testing estimation, prioritization, and anomaly tracking.
Create virtual infrastructure for test environments.
Adhere to Rockwell Automations software development lifecycle processes.
Maintain documentation for existing and new quality procedures.
Promote good software quality engineering practices across the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issues.
Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Designing and executing test plans for analytic software products; Release and regression testing methodologies such as end to end testing and functional testing leveraging test automation frameworks; and Implementing test automation scripts utilizing test automation tools including Selenium WebDriver.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Utilizing Python; Executing performance testing with a focus on load, stress, reliability, and longevity; Troubleshooting Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) and EtherNet/IP; Utilizing Linux; Utilizing GIT to manage source code; and Developing software applications using Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
