JOB TITLE: Data Analyst
GOVERNMENT AGENCY & LOCATION:
JBSA Randolph, TX
POSITION TIMING: Immediate hire upon Contract Award and completion of all background and security investigations. Candidates must be willing to sign a Letter of Intent for submission with their resume.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Support enterprise-level data science efforts for the CRAFT program.
Deliver advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and actionable insights to inform program evaluation and optimization of aircrew human performance.
coordinate with the AETC CRAFT Program Office, the Database Administrator, CPMs, PASO, and other designated stakeholders, including MAJCOMs, Air Staff, academia, and industry partners.
Develop and maintain the CRAFT data architecture, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring data strategies adapt to evolving program requirements.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration across supported sites and organizations while ensuring all activities comply with applicable data security and management standards.
Interpret complex program data sets to identify trends, develop insights, and inform CRAFT program decisions. Collaborate with the Program Office to identify data-driven areas of growth and optimization.
Design, build, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models to identify key factors affecting pilot performance and program outcomes. Develop data collection protocols and standardize evaluation tools across the enterprise.
Serve as a subject matter expert on data collection, measurement strategies, and return on- investment analyses. Advise the CRAFT Program Director on relevant metrics and longitudinal performance indicators.
Design and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and analytic tools to communicate results to stakeholders. Ensure products meet the needs of end-users and senior leaders while preserving data integrity.
Collaborate with the Database Administrator and developer teams to integrate analytic tools into existing applications and web platforms. Support the development of backend architecture and workflows that enable seamless data usability.
Support stakeholder engagement and research by preparing proposals, test plans, technical documentation, reports, and briefings. Assist with study design and present findings to CRAFT Program Office and external stakeholders.
Track data science projects and deliverables using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Planner) on NIPR. Maintain transparency by sharing project boards with the CRAFT Program Office and PM team.
Monitor evolving technologies and methods in data science and machine learning.
Proactively update data tools and techniques in alignment with best practices and program needs.
Provide on-site or virtual support to other CRAFT locations, including those without existing programs, to ensure continuity in data analytics, tool deployment, and stakeholder engagement.
Complete all required CRAFT compliance training and documentation, including CRAFT Program Familiarization, HPO Inappropriate Relationships and Harassment Training and Acknowledgment, DOD/DISA Information Systems Policy, social media Policy, and PII Training. Maintain records of training completion and credentialing for Government review upon request.
Participate in all CRAFT Program Office calls and leadership syncs and contribute to collaborative working groups to ensure alignment with program goals and analytic standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Secret clearance required.
Possess 2+ years’ data mining and/or 4+ years in a data analyst, engineer, or scientist role.
Proficient understanding and working knowledge of computer, e-mail, voice mail, and telephone texts to perform duties.
Additionally, be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
Preferrable knowledge and background in human performance data. Familiarity with fighter wing culture is also highly desired.
Preferred experience or background in human performance or behavior health.
