Full Time Grinder Operator Job Description

The Grinder Operator is responsible for operating a variety of grinding machines to grind and polish metal parts to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating grinders and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of grinding machines to grind and polish metal parts to specifications

Inspect parts for defects and make adjustments as needed

Maintain the grinders and other equipment in good working order

Work independently and as part of a team

Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience operating grinders

Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications

Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
