Forklift Operator - Immediate Opening - Day Shift!

Are you skilled and safety-focused looking to elevate your career? Our Client is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join their team in Quincy, IL and play a key role in keeping their operations running smoothly.

As a Forklift Operator, you'll help keep their warehouse operations running smoothly by operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and products. Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments. Supporting a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment.

This is a Direct Hire Position! Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.

Pay Range: $20.25 per Hour - No Applicant Fee!

Essential Functions for the Forklift Operator:

*Load/Unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers/railroad cars

*Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment

*Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

*Transport raw materials to production workstations

*Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

*Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

*Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Minimal Required Qualifications for the Forklift Operator:

*Must have 2-4 years of experience operating a forklift/industrial truck

*Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding

*Consistently lift, standing, bending, and rotating motions

*Operate hand truck and forklift

*Basic Mathematics Skills

*Solid work history is required to be considered.
