Network Manager

POSITION: Network Manager DISTRICT: SAU 41 SALARY: $70,000-$85,000 based on experience; Full-Time, Full-Year POSITION DESCRIPTION: SAU 41 is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Network Manager.

The Network Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing network configuration, set up, and administration (VLAN, switches, routers, APs, wireless devices, etc.). Additionally, the person in this position will: Provide support in troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues as needed Assist with tech staff training, system security audits, cybersecurity initiatives, device management, and the RFP Process Provide technical specifications for budgeting (hardware, networks, VOIP systems, camera systems, etc.) Coordinate and oversee all third-party technical support, technology maintenance, major software installations, and meeting streaming Manage active directory accounts, group policies, and network security Oversee device inventory and ticketing management systems Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or higher in technology field plus one year of experience or 3 years of equivalent experience in technical support preferred.

At least one of the following certifications: Comptia Network +, Security +, A+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is preferred.

Strong working knowledge of the Windows operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and Axis Security Systems preferred; experience with Google Apps for Education, Google Admin Console, VOIP phone systems, and Barracuda Firewall a plus.
