About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources practices and processes across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives while promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement human resource strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives

• Identify current and future human resource needs within the organisation

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes

• Conduct performance reviews, wage assessments, and implement performance management systems

• Develop and facilitate training programs and professional development opportunities

• Manage payroll processing and employee records in compliance with legal requirements

• Administer promotions, salary reviews, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures

• Oversee occupational health and safety policies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation

• Represent the organisation in HR-related matters with external stakeholders and authorities

• Foster a high-performance culture and employee engagement initiatives

• Allocate staff to projects and monitor productivity levels

• Provide guidance to management and employees on HR best practices, policy, and compliance

• Undertake any other tasks as required by management

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a human resources role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

• Strong understanding of Australian HR legislation, policies, and best practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally

• Strong problem-solving skills and a people-focused approach

• Ability to train, guide, and supervise team members

• Eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa holder with full working rights)
