The Maintenance Technician & Groundskeeper is responsible for assisting in maintaining the physical integrity & cleanliness of the building at all times. This involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers, clients, visitors, and the team.

The technician actively participates in the cleanliness & maintenance of the physical condition of the entire building while promoting tenant satisfaction. Our Maintenance team is very customer service driven, which creates a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and tenantsCompensation:

$20 - $23 hourlyResponsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and mechanical systems in residential apartment units in Pittsburgh, PA.

Respond promptly to service calls from residents, ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Interact professionally and courteously with tenants, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.

Complete maintenance tasks for unit turnovers, including prepping vacant apartments for new residents.

Execute preventive maintenance procedures to keep equipment and systems in proper working order.

Be available for on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance requests and work orders.

Maintain the grounds of the community, ensuring both appearance and functionality are consistently upheld.

Handle painting and wall touch-ups as needed.

Perform carpet cleaning duties as part of overall maintenance responsibilities.

Groundskeeping.Qualifications:

Ability to reliably commute to and from the workplace.

Availability for a flexible on-call schedule, covering morning, afternoon, and evening service calls across apartment properties throughout the week.

A valid driver's license is required.

Reliable transportation is essential.

Proficiency in email, text, and phone communication is a must.
