Job Description
The Lodge/Clinic Assistant shall be responsible to ensure the proper care of all TVA patients both in house and during therapy appointments.

Essential Functions
Comfortable working around and with all types of animals including, but not limited to, dogs and cats.
Work in collaboration with all other staff to ensure that TVA supports the delivery of high quality care to TVA patients.
Communicate with clients, as requested, clearly and accurately regarding their boarding and/or therapy
Primary Areas of Responsibility
Walk/feed/medicate/exercise overnight and day boarding patients
Observe & report any significant physical or behavioral changes
Check in day-boarding patients, overnight boarding patients; discharge patients as needed
Do group play sessions and walks as required. Maintain all records of activities in regards to feeding, medicating, exercise etc.
Clean/disinfect boarding and clinic areas
Included but not limited to laundry, dishes, sanitizing, steam cleaning
Maintain all areas in “tour-ready” condition
Sweeping, snow removal
Assist Veterinarian and/or Veterinary technicians as directed
Restrain and soothe patients appropriately during therapy appointments
Help to maintain Patient Records
Learn to perform certain aspects of physical therapy under the licensed technicians' supervision
Filling out charts appropriately.
Client education
Supervise quality & cleanliness of equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Hold and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Able to learn other platforms as needed
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Ability to follow, understand and apply operational and technical instruction.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift to 50 pounds

Hours: Position is a full time, generally 30-40 hours/week. Sunday-Saturday 7am-3:30 pm, 10:30am-7 pm or 2:00pm-10pm, including Holidays and Weekends.Company Description
