The Manager of Installation represents Waites as an installation project manager onsite at our customers (domestically and internationally.) He/She is primarily responsible for driving installation success, managing the installation team members assigned to the project, and installing Waites equipment on customer machines/equipment. He/She determines the daily schedule, communicates with customer contacts onsite and internal project stakeholders (Sales, CSMs, Engineering, leadership, etc.), manages onsite inventory and shipping, and promotes a safe, positive, professional, and fun work environment. Reports to: Manager of Installation Services

Location: Must reside near airport (ideally an international hub but not required)

Travel:

80-100% travel - Domestic & International

Maximum of 21 days a month on the road, not to exceed 2 weeks away at a time for domestic projects

Some variance with international travel

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **Sponsorship is not available at this time**

Job Description:

This position will give you the opportunity to -

Own responsibility of installations, team performance, project planning and scheduling, and customer service

Interface with customers and team members regularly

Work closely with leadership to achieve department and organizational goals

Ensure assignments are appropriately staffed and executed

Install Waites equipment on various types of machinery

Communicate effectively with team members and managements on daily basis

Manage team, provide feedback, conduct difficult conversations, and ensure team member productivity and performance

Conduct performance reviews

Coordinate travel accommodations and arrangements for on site team

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure project details and information is fully communicated in advance

Act and lead as extension of the leadership team with new policies, processes, procedures and business changes

Be a champion for company policies, changes and health & safety

Make sure safety protocols are being followed

Maintain the daily operations of site locations

Work with trainer to ensure completion of Day One Onboarding process in respective systems with new hires

Training and assisting in the development of new and existing employees

Acting as first contact for customer issues before escalation to the Director of Installation

Assisting in conducting audits and any other projects as needed

Schedule product shipments for customer install and assist in managing on site inventory daily

Help maintain a clean, neat and compliant environment dependent on client requirements

Meet EOD/EOI reporting requirements/deadlines and complete in a professional manner

Understand and implement Waites and OSHA Health Safety and Environmental Policies

Understand and follow client’s Industry standards

Train customer on process to properly remove and replace a sensor

Make sure POC signs off on installation completion form

Communicate with customers for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with POC

Review and verify daily timesheets of installation technicians

May be asked to assist with network/system specialist visits and system manager work when not on an assignment

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Proficient with Google Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A positive, can-do attitude and teamwork mentality

Dependable, self-motivated, positive attitude, teamwork mentality

Excellent organization, management and customer service skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment

Must be available to work 40 hours/week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to learn new software or apps quickly and implement

Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid drivers license

Comfortable leading and communicating with groups of people.

Travel as required

You have a working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

You possess job-related certifications-OSHA 10, MSHA, Fall Protection, Working at Heights, lift certified, First Aid, and client required certifications

Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds

Working Conditions:

Walk/use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or tools / Reach with hands and arms / Climb ladders and stairs / Crawl/kneel

Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Perform work on-site in industrial, commercial, and residential locations
