Electrical Engineer, Autonomous Vehicles

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team within the burgeoning autonomous vehicle sector. This role is crucial for validating our innovative hardware designs, ensuring they meet stringent design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical products to ensure they meet design requirements.

Develop and implement test scripts using LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB.

Utilize Linux operating systems for testing processes.

Apply knowledge of ethernet and CAN communication protocols in testing scenarios.

Operate and interpret data from common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.

Qualifications:

Must be a Permanent Resident or a United States Citizen.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical troubleshooting or testing.

Strong experience with Linux and scripting languages like LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB.

Familiarity with ethernet and CAN communication protocols.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in EMI and environmental testing.

Familiarity with standards such as MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464, or DO-160.
