SAS Developer

Regions Bank seeks SAS Developer in Birmingham, AL.

Job Description: Oversee application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. Monitor system applications, will ensure systems run smoothly, and will create reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. Develop custom programming code in SAS , including generating summary tables data listings and derived data sets in statistical analysis plan. Develop ETL processes with data warehousing. Develop customizations on ETL process for loading data into AML and CTR. Develop stored procedures and web reports. Work on SSRS reports. Utilize expertise in data movement and relation between the data and tables. Work on base SAS Programming (Data step ,SQL Programming, use of SQL Pass through or Proc Sql). Develop shell scripts and format XML files. Install and configure new SAS environments. Develop and implement new workflows in SAS AML. Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software. Installs and configures systems and other software. Tests installed software for malfunction detection. Identifies and resolves business systems issues. Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems. Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops and implements strategies to improve systems. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a closely related field plus four (4) years of experience in a SAS development occupation.

Position requires any amount of experience in all of the following:

Experience with statistical analysis and reporting using SAS software; Experience with SAS Platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS Studio, SAS Workload Orchestrator, SAS Grid, SAS Web Report Studio and SAS ECM; Experience with Programming Languages SQL, PL/SQL; Experience with Oracle, MS Access, MYSQL, Hadoop and Teradata; Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Bamboo and build pipelines.
