Technical Project Manager for Satellite Control Center Solutions

Our client, a French space technology company specializing in space mobility solutions, and a key player in the "New Space" sector, develops advanced electric propulsion systems, orbital transfer vehicles, and software tools to enhance the deployment and operation of small satellites.

Their Team is looking for a Technical Project Manager for Satellite Control Center Solutions for operations of their Spacevan fleet.

Within the Satellite Operations team and under the management of the Head of IOS Mission management, you will be responsible for coordination of Spacecraft Control Center Developments & its Continuous Improvements.

Your main tasks will be:

You will animate programmatic and planning aspects of SCC solutions within the Satellite Operations Team, particularly with the SCC software architect (Tech lead).

You will be leading the major evolutions of the Satellite Control Center solutions in order to support the evolution and growth of our Spacevan Missions (LEO, GEO, RPO).

You will also be responsible for continuous improvements of the Satellite Control Center aiming to incorporate lessons learned from our current Spacevan Missions, and optimize our Spacevan Operations.

You will work in close interaction with the In Orbit Services engineering team, including system engineers, avionics engineers and AIT engineers.

The position is open in their offices in Toulouse or Massy.

Preferred Experience

Typically, the candidate:

• Shall have an engineering degree or equivalent experience

• At least 5 years working experience in Satellite Operations

Demonstrated experience in project management & People skills with ability to develop privileged relationships

• Negotiating skills, with aim to reach mutual satisfactory solutions

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,

• Autonomous, rigorous and detailed oriented

• Fostering team environment
