The Job Center Staffing is hiring associates for a Maintenance Furnace Operator position on 1st shift in the Hebron, KY area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement!

Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Maintenance Furnace Operator

$26-$30 (pending experience)

6am-2:30pm M-F

Responsibilities of Maintenance Furnace Operator

Employees will be working in the maintenance furnace operation department and will be responsible for various duties including troubleshooting and repair of vacuum furnaces required programs:

Leak testing and repair

Pump and motor repairs

Heating elements

Thermocouple replacements and other mechanical aspects of furnaces

Requirements of Maintenance Furnace Operator

Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in an industrial setting. Must be comfortable with being exposed to heat, fumes, loud noises, humidity, etc.

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in heat treating with expert-level working knowledge of equipment, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. In depth knowledge of operating under AMS 2750 & AMS 2769.

Preferred experience: knowledge of and hands on experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases. Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc., at minimum.

Required certifications: High School Degree or GED

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Steel-toed boots/shoes are required, the company will provide safety glasses and ear protection

Drug Test must be sent out to St E Business Health- Form in Documents
