Drywall installer and finisher

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Drywall Finishers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, ensuring that all surfaces are smooth and ready for painting or other finishes. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints

Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners

Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets

Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists

Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry

Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound

Skills

Proficient in drywall finishing techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding.

Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.

General maintenance person skills that contribute to overall project efficiency.

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Experience in construction and drywall for 3 years.
