## The Crisis We Face
America is experiencing an unprecedented **loneliness epidemic** that demands urgent action. U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has declared loneliness a public health epidemic, with 30% of adults experiencing feelings of loneliness at least once a week, and the statistics among young people are even more alarming.
