As we near completion of a new plant and prepare for commercialization, we are seeking an Infrastructure System Admin to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive, skilled and customer-service-oriented Windows System Administrator with a strong background in network infrastructure to join our Global IT Team. This role is critical in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our hybrid infrastructure environment, which includes VMware, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Fortinet, Cisco, and RADIUS technologies. Additionally, the candidate will be part of the local escalation team for any requests that the remote Helpdesk team cannot complete.

Schedule: The role will be based on-site at our factory in Wilson, NC, with flexibility to work from home one day each week (subject to annual review).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments (2019/2022).
Manage and support VMware vSphere infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Operate and optimize Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including Intune, Exchange, and storage.
Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
Support and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, controllers, and wireless access points.
Implement and manage RADIUS authentication for secure network access.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Collaborate with other IT team members to enforce best practices and policies, while assisting in the resolution of complex issues.
Document system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
Must consistently follow all safety and food safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. This includes compliance with properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), identifying and reporting potential hazards, and actively participating in safety training and initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the infrastructure or networking field, preferably in the manufacturing or food industry. The incumbent Infrastructure System Admin will have a combination of education, and skills that demonstrate the ability to fulfill all aspects of this job description.
5+ years of experience in Windows System Administration and Network Support.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification (Azure Administrator Associate, VMWare VCP, Fortinet NSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and vCenter.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure administration and hybrid cloud environments.
Solid understanding of Fortinet security appliances and Cisco networking.
Experience configuring and managing RADIUS and related authentication protocols.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to regularly commute to Wilson, NC
Authorized to work in the US (Believer is an E-Verify participant).
