Work Arrangement & Location

Junior-Mid Level: Austin, TX office-based (in-person 5 days/week initially, flexible after 90 days)

Senior Level: Austin, TX preferred, remote considered for exceptional candidates

Compensation: $60,000 - $150,000 + equity based on experience level

About the Role

Join a $7M funded real estate technology startup building scalable APIs and microservices for property management solutions. Work with a 30-person team including founders from Addepar, Amazon, and Robinhood on real estate sales, leasing, and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs

Build scalable microservices architecture

Optimize database queries for large property datasets

Debug production issues and implement monitoring

Collaborate with Frontend, Design, and Product teams

Must-Have Requirements

Technical Experience:

2-6 years professional software development

Strong Java with Spring Boot framework

Hands-on AWS cloud experience (EC2, S3, RDS)

MySQL database design and optimization

RESTful API production experience

Startup Experience:

Previous startup, high-growth tech company, or fast-paced development environment

Ability to work with minimal supervision and unclear requirements

Track record of shipping products quickly

Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities
