Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Backend Engineer - DeFi - this is a fully-remote role for US-based candidates.

We power one of DeFi’s largest RFQ liquidity sources, facilitating over $25 billion in volume through professional market makers to ensure guaranteed pricing and protection against MEV exploits.

We are building the next generation interface for trading: AI-native, mobile-native, and asset-agnostic from day one. Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the core systems powering our next-generation trading platform. From scalable APIs and distributed systems to LLM-tuned infrastructure and data pipelines, this is a hands-on role at the frontier of finance and AI. You’ll operate across the stack with high autonomy and collaborate closely with product and engineering to drive a best-in-class user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build highly scalable backend systems and APIs powering cutting edge financial

platforms.

Tune LLM-based models that revolutionize user experience for financial platforms.

Build data pipelines for training LLM models that generate financial insights.

Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in order to architect the best-in-class user

experience.

Exercise a high level of autonomy while focusing on accomplishing business objectives

across the technical stack.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building and architecting distributed software systems

2+ years of experience and advanced skills in Rust

Experience with production Databases / Message Queues
